- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I have been receiving information from Dan Miller for years. I hope to get what every true community offers...support, accountability, ideas, honesty, sharing, and a place for me to share what I have to offer. I see this as another tool to help me break out of the 'great ideas, no action' mindset, and to help others do the same.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I am currently working in the a/c and heating industry for my dad. He lives 4 hours away so I am working there 4 days a week. It is a big challenge for me and my family, but it forces me to press in and get my work done in FAA.
- And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
- Sons of Dominion: we are an original clothing brand that obsesses over creativity, detail, and excellence while emphasizing potential, dominion, and community. We give back through profit sharing generated from merchandise sales and free marketing via blog interviews for organizations who help individuals discover and fulfill their purpose. We are a web-based company whose boundaries extend worldwide. We collaborate with organizations by encouraging them to submit design ideas in exchange for a percentage of the sales if the design is chosen. We believe the world is ripe for true relational community business exchange instead of simply interacting with companies based on a clever design.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- To build a home big enough for our family!
- What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I am a good communicator and listener. I am detailed oriented and appreciate artistic things (even though I am not an artist, per se). I enjoy researching subjects, as well as finding out a person's story and what they're all about. I realize this isn't a classic definition of core competencies, but I figure it's better than not putting anything here.

Welcome to the Alamo City Networking group. We're still new, as you can see, but we hope to keep growing and to start having some get togethers in the near future.
I love your idea about starting a school. I have had a similar idea over the years. Have you heard of the School of Excellence here in San Antonio? It, and several other charter schools, have started up in recent years and I have been curious as to how to go about opening a charter school. However, that idea has been sitting on the back burner for a while.
Anyway, welcome to the group! I hope we can get together some time and discuss business and/or school ideas.
