Hi Karla,

I have started a group for Michigan based 48 dayers called Michigan Eagles. My idea is to lend support and encouragement to those trying to make a go of it in this state. Check it out, love to have you on board.

Hi Karla:
I've had to learn the lesson the hard way. And I mean THE hard way. It's tough to be more responsible, less wasteful and a better steward of the things God gives us. God takes away from me when I forget to "share." I grew up in a large family so I tend to want to hoard things. God doesn't like that. We're supposed to let abundance FLOW through us, not stop it and hang on to it. It's definitely a stronghold for me.
Take care, Kathy

I love what you've decided to do with your life. Awesome. Unfortunately, there's so many people in the US who live on $1 a day too, which is why I want to do missionary work in Appalachia. It's tough to watch people waste food, isn't it?

Dear Karla -
thank you for your nice offer...save it for somebody else in the US -because of the postage.
Have a blessed time -
Fred.

Hi Karla,

Like Jabe says below, In Kenya for many peple living on BELOW a dollar day is lke the norm. And this is for all expenses including food and to feed a family of five. A higher percentage of those livin in the Urban Centres, get their wages daily, use it and go out to look for money for th e next day.

I think your campaign is really good in creating awareness for the same and reminding us to be grateful for what we have and that there are things that we really can do without...

Keep up the good work and all looking foawrd to hear more about Hope heals ..

Karla, the first thing to do is to get your state specific information on forming a non-profit corporation. I found all my forms and info. online at the states website. The state filing is done first, however, the US gov. uses that paperwork (and more) to evaluate for charitable status (501c3) so you need to make sure some "wording" is correct. As I recall, I googled " why applications for 501c3 status fail " -- it has to do with wording. Please email me when you get a chance and I can pull out the specifics for you from the filing cabinet!

Karla, I did all the work for Heavenly Housing on my own. So I would gladly be a resource for you. Do you have any specific questions regarding processes that I can answer for you?
