How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
From Dan Miller's podcasts.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Unemployed, 13 yrs in the IT field.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To be in control of my own lifestyle.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
After a transatlantic courtship, I married my wonderful British wife in June 2010. As I like to say, "All the cool kids have imports".
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I want to personally extend an invitation to you to join the group called "Making A DREAM" we are discussing our dreams and what we are doing to make them happen!
If you are have a great idea or business concept but are having trouble getting it off the ground? Maybe it is your NEXT stream of income you want to get started. I invite you to challenge yourself with a FREE 7 day eCourse on my website. I offer this free because I want to introduce people to a different way of planning a business, the Agile way.
Mike, as to your question... I came to the site from Dan's podcasts. Once here, I noticed that there was an abundance of intelligent, kind, helpful, positive people here, and those are the kind of people I like, so how could I not join?
Not long ago, I thought I wanted to be a teacher... until I got wind of the strident "politically correct" movement in the educational system. Ugh. Not to mention the massive student loan debt I already have, and didn't want to add any more to it.
At this point, I'm considering going through Dave Ramsey's training to be a financial counselor... but that's just food for thought, for now.
Welcome to 48Days.net - I'm glad you are a part of the community! I love building businesses and helping others to do the same. What brought you to the community?
