How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?

I first learned of Dan Miller's teaching through his participation on the Dave Ramsey Show and began to really identify with his thoughts and leadings. After reading Dan's books, listening to his podcasts, and reading his newsletters, I started to recognize how many people are interested in using their gifts and talents more productively but have never truely discovered them fully or thought much about their vocation.

What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?

I am self-empolyed; working with small businesses to over come some their most common obstacles and realizing their fullest potential. Our goal is to help other family businesses to develop business models that both enhance their current productivity and profitability while also continuing to build an increasing level of enterprise value of the business. This is done in the context of building a productive family mission and an appropriate life balance with work.

And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?

Our goal for our business is to serve many small to mid-sized businesses and to be an encouragement to potential business owners to assess their skills, achieve new skills, and to establish goals and strategies.

How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?

My goal is to build a business that our family can become actively involved in at various levels; utilizing their unique talents and encouraging their passions and interests to serve the needs of other entrepreneurial families.

What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?

My personal profile is that of Assessor. My eduation and experience has been in busienss and more specifically in commercial and business banking for over 25 years. I have obtained a bachelor and master degrees in busness administration. My core competencies are in planning and assessing opportunities and potential risks. I am detailed oriented and greatly enjoy and feel fulfillment through helping others to discover their gifts and encouraging their faith and being courageousness in it.
