"I have a project on Kickstarter right now. It ends in 2 weeks and does not look good so far. I have been trying to promote it but so far not so good.
Here is my project if you want to take a look. And if you want to share it that would be a big…"
"I haven't used Kickstarter but back in the mid-eighties - before crowdfunding was a word - I raised $30,000, $5,000 more than my target, for a book project, from private investors. I wrote a news release - my story - which was picked up by a…"
"Seth Vore succeeded with his boat project. I just launched a watercolor project two days ago. Trying to raise $10,000. First day had a $1000 pledge. Nothing since. Time will tell, but I strongly suspect it will all hinge on what kind of a salesman I…"
"Is it possible to pre-build the coops, and then have the customer pick out which one they like ?
I used to do t-shirts and hated the deadline thing because it was a side business. So I decided early on to make t-shirts that I thought…"
"Sounds like you're selling a premium product at a bargain-basement price. That's a tough model to sustain. My personal theory is that there are three key locations you can occupy on the business spectrum: First, Cheapest, or Best. You can…"
"@Karen - I'm looking for someone who is cheaper. Considering I live in AZ, I'm assuming our weather has been better than yours. Would you agree that 5-7 eggs per day seems low? Is egg production more tied to length of…"
"Question for the group: I have a respiratory illness going through my chicken flock. It started with my turkeys near the end of their days. A number of weeks before slaughter, some of the white turkeys got swollen sinuses. I…"

"We had a rough night. A coyote killed our prized Blue Slat Tom. I'm going to be doing some coyote hunting for the next few days.
Question: the coyote didn't completely kill the bird. It had the bird by the head, no other wound on him. Is…"
"Turkey processing (I get to do it myself here in AZ) is the weekend before thanksgiving. I'm just letting them eat as much grower as they want. I can't wait to have the white gone. Love the Blues and Narragansetts.
Sam, I've seen so…"
"Sam, you raise pot bellied pigs for meat, correct? Do they taste like traditional pork or is there a noticeable difference? They're so small...about how much meat can you expect to get from one?
Also, does anyone have a breed of…"
"Does anyone here have a sustainable turkey flock? If so, any pointers on creating a healthy flock? I have 3 Blue Slate toms, 1 Blue Slate hen and 1 Narragansett Tom.
The book signing will be in Dec. We just got the new book in the…"
Here's the reponse I received back concerning the book signing:
"Usually the booksignings include a short book talk.. maybe an hour and a half with question and answer and time for booksigning after. Hosting…"
