Hi Jeff

It's been a while since you joined 48days. I see from your profile that you are an employee but want to be self employed. How is that going?

I host a group called "Baby Steps To Business" here on 48days.net and I want to invite you. We are planning several upcoming free teleconferences on startup topics like: Market Research, Leadership/Influence, Sales, and Franchises. I hope you will join us.

I also provide coaching for startups if you want to accelerate your progress and get to being fully self employed sooner. Just let me know.

Peace
Joseph Flahiff

I wouldn't use Amember unless you had a few hundred members, and there may be better systems out there. We are too far into it to change at this moment.

I can accept PayPal but 2Checkout works with Amember so we use that primarily. I don't think you can restrict it to just debit/credit cards. We are not certified Dave Ramsey counselors (we are certified workplace trainers but any pay comes directly from Dave''s company) and emailmoneycoach.com is not affiliated with Dave. So I don't think we are under any obligation not to accept credit cards like you are. At one point we had put an item that while we accept all forms of payment, we do not want clients to go into debt for our services/products (i.e. not pay it in full each month.)

Hi Jeff,
This is VERY new to us so we don't even have a customer yet. But we use 2checkout.com and they would get approximately $1 or so of each transaction. I am notified by 2CO if someone enrolls, so I would just keep my own list of clients and begin an email relationship with them. My larger site, Christianprofessionalwoman.com uses Amember in cooperation with 2Checkout but I wouldn't recommend something like that if you only have a few clients.

any tithing can be a complicated equation . The first 10% of gross on payroll is an easy figure to determine . However lets use the example of corn for pure ease of illustrating and understanding , I will use the example of 100 acres of corn , it would be simple to say that the first ten acres harvested is Gods . That would meet the first 10% requirement even though that may not be the best it may only be the first 10 acres ready to harvest . To fairly determine what would be !0% and include the best would entail waiting until it is all harvested since yields because of a variety of factors since any two acres +seldom yield the same , sometimes varying by as much as 200+ bushel but if for some reason any portion is not harvested would reduce the 10% total . That doesn't determine willingness

That is partly what I got from reviewing the audio in our toolbox. Russ is great at asking lots of questions and helping them develop the art of thinking.
But when you find a person that is motivated and ready, it is so rewarding.

My initial consultation is set up after they have the paperwork (I email it to them) and they usually get it to me before hand. That has worked beautifully.
Also what I think was so great about listening to Russ again is that he does everything purposefully. And I was beginning to start my own ways that were not as good.
Now I have things set up in my office and have the order of what I do with them during the consult just like Russ. I am really excited because I honestly wasn't aware of how I was leaving things out.
Good to visit.
Tell me of a success story!

Hi Jeff,
I appreciated finding another counselor here. Sounds like you have run into some boredom with the program.
I recently went on Russ' counseling times and relistened to how he handles the process. I was really encouraged and refined. He knows what he is doing.
Perhaps you are working in other areas and don't have the time to put into the refresher course, but it really was good for me.
What else do you do for income?

And may I congratulate you on the weight goals? I have similar needs... and have yet to find a successful approach. Go!!

Welcome to Leap Jeff. I love the goals you're trying to work towards!

When did you go through Dave's training?
At 9:30pm on December 7, 2008, Kim Godsey said…
Thanks for your thoughts. I have only know Russ' training from now. I do a 2 hour consultation and two more meetings with limited 6 month contact. I haven't had too much demand, but the perceived value is good.
I have enjoyed what I've done so far. I have had a good rate of return. My most exciting project now is with our local United Way! Training the heads of depts of the curriculum and turning them on the nonprofit department.
It is needed. If you can't sell this at this time, you aren't trying!
