Very encouraging. Around our home we frequently say "we have today." it's a gift to be spent purposefully. tomorrow isn't here, yesterday is done. Today we have.

Art and creativity

This is the ore boat painting in oil on display at Williamson County Fair this past summer. My how times flies. It took second place- which was great! Besides that it's just plain fun to see your work on public display...a bit un-nerving I'll confess, but wonderful indeed.

Often, in hindsight we have tendency to hold ourselves up to an ideal that really isn't who we are.

It's a good honest business, and for the foreseeable future is promising. If so, jump through the hoops and become an enrolled agent with the IRS. The IRS is proposing regulations effective this year to require registration of unenrolled return preparers...those who are not CPA's, lawyers, and enrolled agents. Of course, it's the classic… Continue

Thanks Jay! Yes, finding ways to take action is the key. Also I find that making content on the internet just builds. You never know what is going to catch on (I feel a seed sowing analogy coming on...!) For example, I used my flip camera to make a short tutorial on painting a village street and it comes up top on youtube for 'watercolor tutorial'. Plus it is all fun! Because painting is my passion.

Hi, Jay. Eclipse is a painting, not a photo - although it did fool one astronomer. I'm taking that as a good sign! I'm enjoying your "assimilation" on your blog right now.
