How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Through Dan's podcast. Found Dan's site through the book 48 Days. Found out about the book through Dave Ramsey's radio show. I would like to be involved in a community of like minded individuals. Individuals that think the standard job in the typical work situation is the only way.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
As of October 8, 2011 I am FULL TIME IN MY OWN BUSINESS!!! A Better Way of Business.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal is to fully become the man God made me to be. And I'm working on accomplishing this through both my work life and my personal life by finding work I love to do so much that you can not tell whether or not I'm doing something for fun or doing it for "work"!
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want to continue to grow in faith in God and walk closer to Jesus's foot steps. I want to continue to be an excellent husband and father. I want to get back into exercising. And I want to grow more fulfilling relationships with existing and new friends.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Technically speaking, I'm very high C and D. I like to say I know how to get things done and then I get them done! My Strength Finders 2.0 I'm: Competitive, Input, Focus, Communication, and Achiever.
Through experience I'm seeing that my over-the-top energy level and straight forwardness REALLY helps to motivate, inspire, and encourage others to take actions to go after their dreams!
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
A Better Way of Business is designed to help service providing small businesses who were started by individuals who had an "entrepreneurial seizure" but now they need to get a handle on "this business side of things."

Hey Ivan, thank you so much for your quick feedback on my blog--you're the first (and only) person from the group to give me some pointers. I'll work on the about me page this weekend (when I do my writing). Thanks for the encouragement to be consistent too--it's discouraging to put so much thought and effort into something and have 0 comments and only a few hits from facebook, but I'll keep writing.
Thank You for the advice i see the green borders is a major problem. I will definitely change that. I am learning how to fix my border. Hopefully by the time my next one comes out I will have that fixed. Also i'm looking at coming out every Monday with a new post.
Thanks Ivan, but I should have sent you a friend request first, Geez! Seriously bro, thanks, and I am honored to accept. I guess it's pretty fitting that we 48 Days'ers be friends, not only on FB and Twitter, but on 48 Days.net as well, eh?
holy crap, Ivan. That is saWEET and it actually made me cry! This is why: I'm trying to make a transition from Interior Design (which I have a BA in) to some sort of coaching (which I have no education in). Some of the people I have been meeting with who are doing what I want to do either already have some sort of Masters degree or they are currently pursuing one.
Josh and I worked REALLY hard to become debt free thanks to Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover (http://www.daveramsey.com/store/prod326.html) and right now, going into debt again is not an option we are choosing to take. SO, this blog post is inspiring and EYE OPENING because of how much knowledge you are obtaining through listening to the radio shows. I love it! Thank you for sharing!
