Will do, Guy, I will repost that (I just requested to join the group) with a bit of elaboration if you don't mind. Something to do with your entire theme of "un", because I think it's an important basic distinction (and worthy of an early post on your forum) whether you are internalizing the term "Frustrated Entrepeneur" as reality (true frustration that people here can help with) or an excuse (using frustration as a rationale for not doing something).

Hence I really like your profile pic next to the title, a bit of subliminal play on words. Something like, "What would you be like or do if you were a completely "un-Frustrated Entrepeneur?", although that is not something to directly aspire to. :^)

Thanks Guy for the connection. I am a 'born-again' entrepreneur, I did my own business at 28 which lasted 3 years and I served well, but was not so wise in the ways of business (became a big fan afterwards of Michael Gerber). Now at 41 after trying to work for someone else's dreams, I want to pursue my own again.

My challenge currently is 'the jump', going from salary-slave to full-blooded consultant with no reserve funding nor a financial safety net. Plus I have just a few small remaining mental blocks to work through. But I know a breakthrough is coming soon, and I am relishing it, but also feel I need to make it happen.

I appreciate your invite, and gratefully accept. I am searching for solutions for a product that I have. My product is in prototype form, but I have yet to nail down a solid manufacturer. I did have a domestic manufacturer quote at one time, but they have since pulled back their offer.

As an entrepreneur, one of the most frustrating parts of bringing a product to market is knowing where to find good advice for your future direction. I have gone through the cycle of using my personal money until it is exhausted, shelving the idea until I have more discretionary money, then repeating the cycle. Each time, I get a little further, but I never seem to crest "the peak," so that I am gaining momentum rather than losing.

This roller coaster effect may be a function of the people I surround myself with, the circumstances, or just plain ME. I can visualize my product in its packaging on the shelf in stores, but I find few partners who have the enthusiasm that I have to see this product come to fruition. I have shown this product to the target market, and they get excited.

My biggest hurdle is that the product would require licensing to achieve its greatest potential. That is not to say there are no other ways around the hurdle, but finding a suitable secondary market is a lot for one person to handle. I am the guy who wears all the hats, and between lack of financial support, and a partner that holds me accountable, it has been difficult to make the necessary forward progress to feel like I am moving in the right direction.

I have very respectable prototypes that I have developed largely by myself. I have trademarks and a patent to protect my property rights. Last count, there were 75+ Million potential customers in the primary market, and who knows how many in the secondary market.

Quite simply, I need help. I need a "mastermind" group.
