What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Owner operator of The Custom Framers, a Custom framing Studio in Lee's Summit, MO/ President of local Woodworking Guild, Board of Trustees of Church, teaching Sunday School to 3rd and 4th Grade. Completed leading my second 48 days seminar and have been helping others through a job club we started at my church. I'm hoping to start another session soon.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Living the dream. I;ve finally made the jump and started my own business as doing custom picture framing. I'm still interested in training others and helping people.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Currently I'm in a position of deevloping new goals. I have achieved every goal I've set. I am truly blessed and really finding it difficult to set meaningful goals without putting them in materialistic terms. Completed 20 years in USMC (18 Active, 2 reserve), Married 29 years, Father of one son (8), Life is GREAT.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Problem Solver! Planner, have a gift of being able to look at things from outside the box and see possible issues that others miss. Worked for several years in Mobilization planning for the USMC. I am gifted with the ability to look at an issue and see it from many different directions. This allows me to develop contingencies for many different scenarios. Sometimes perceived as pessimistic in the past, I've been working at improving that misperception. Craftsman! I enjoy making things and designing things to fit particular needs/ situations.
