How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I have been associated with 48 days for 5 years.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
My own business and passion is NuRevelations.
I also work as a data anaylsis for a telecommuncations company
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
By 2010 for NuRevelations to be my full-time vocation.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
A better known motivational speaker and travel.
To bring awarness especially to the faith community about domestic violence. To offer services that will help people transition from an abusive relationship to healthy relationship where they can discover God's purpose for their lives.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm a a motivator, encourager, get along with all personality types, Love the LORD, value family and friends.
Thanks for the encouragement, Darlene. I highly commend you for what you are doing in your ministry. Having a light shone on this issue is much needed within the Christian community in order for us to address it properly, and respond appropriately when we learn people are either in a violent relationship or are recently coming out of one. Bless you for the work you are doing!
I am working on developing a platform about DV Awareness and Prevenion.
I also want to speak to churches and women's ministry groups about how prevalant DV is...even in church communities.
I consider myself an expert on it.
But not an expert on how to put myself out there.
It looks like you already do this!!!
I really want to learn from someone like you.
Hey there Darlene!... thanks for jumping in the 180 Group! It's great to have you in there!Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments section when you get a chance. We just embarked on a new discussion workshop!
Thank you and many blessings to you in this new year!
I would welcome us getting together some time - perhaps a cup of tea one (available) Saturday morning or afternoon? I would love to learn more about your programs/seminars. Perhaps I can even be of service to you in some way.
