"Definitely do it. It's part of learning of how your marketplace interacts with your brand. Again for me I work with fishermen and outdoorsmen. They buy widgets more than information.
Homeschoolers maybe very different. Try it and see, but…"
"Well, with anything in business, no one knows unless you gather hard data to see for yourself if it works or not. In general I strive to tell the story of whatever it is I'm selling, and that does better than anything I've tried.
"I did try Etsy. Fishermen don't hang out on Etsy.
The UPC codes on eBay are secondhand, yes? Does that create problems down the road? The codes themselves would be registered to the company who bought the original $750 batch of codes. My…"
"Very encouraging. Thanks. I've been trying to get my fishing floats on Amazon, but hit because it's a handmade product and I don't have UPC codes, a logo and such. I think I'm just going to put it up anyway and sort out the…"
"I think hydro and aquaponics is the way to go for a lot of world food huger problems. I'm happy you mentioned hydroponics. I haven't been able to garden at all this year the rain has been unrelenting. I'm seriously considering…"

Select a theme that aligns well…"

The lower gas prices will allow me to spend more time on the water demonstrating…"

One thing I'm going to try this year is to partner with other brands.…"
"Made my first $224.76 in sales. Some of that comes from eBay, some from my Web site, and some from local sales. I make custom vintage-looking fishing tackle. I'm surprised that people have bought even in the middle of winter. That doesn't…"
Damon - I've mostly grown things we like to use in our kitchen for salads and juicing, using 2 raised beds I built out of leftover cedar wood from our fence. I've grown lettuce, carrots, kale, cucumbers, squash, collards, tomatoes, peppers, beets, radishes, green beans, basil, thyme... and maybe a few others I can't remember. All of it was in small quantities. Unfortunately I'm living in an apartment right now and not growing anything, but excited about getting back into it soon. What's going on with you?
