I haven't been on 48 days for a while because I've been creating my online training course for parents. I teach parents a set of principles which allow them to go from enduring their children to…Continue
"Rob that looks like a strong successful group. I find I'm short on time these days to keep up the group myself and I actually stopped developing websites for clients (I still use Drupal for own but now I purchase themes instead of rolling my…"
"Is anyone interested in keep this group alive? Because there is no activity recently, this group has been slated for deletion. If one of you would like to admin the group and keep it alive, please contact me right away."
I use a lapel mic directly into my Kodak Zi8. However, when that doesn't work I use my TASCAM DR-05 audio recorder. I can fit it in my pocket and run the wire up through my shirt so my lapel mic is barely noticeable. Also it works great…"
"I bought two of these: http://www.amazon.com/Neewer®-CN-160-camera-video-light/dp/B004TJ6JH6/
along with a pair of the Sony F-550 battery clones and a charger. Paid under $100 for the set.
They give out good light, and the high…"
"Same here with Kodak Zi8. I think mine was $300 and then I bought memory cards. The downside is that it is auto-exposed so I really have to work extra hard on the lighting to get the look I want (or edit and adjust later). I want to get a digital…"

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I purchased 48 Days to the work you love and 48 Days to creative income 9 years ago when I was listening to Dave Ramsey. Recently, my friend Kimanzi Constable turned back onto Dan Miller and I've been following the blog. Now I'd like to connect with this network to serve and to share and to learn from others with the same goal of creating their own income.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self-employed author, speaker and life coach.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal is to serve families and business in a bigger way each year. I want to get my book published as a physically book and start doing radio and tv interviews.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want travel more and contribute to missionary work around the globe. I want to be the best father to my children and husband to my wife.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Teacher - I love teaching people, coaching, consulting, etc. I actually worked as a high school teacher for several years. I enjoy speaking, giving webinars and creating online video courses.
Technology - I intuitively pick up new technologies. Most of my skills are self-taught.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my first vlog post. I learned about Brendon Burchard from Kimanzi and have learned some good stuff from his free video posts. You guys must have been blown away at his conference.
I wanted to send a quick welcome to the Write it Forward, Real Success and Profit for Writers group. We're glad you're here!
The group's discussion forum is packed with information, and is a great place to get feedback on your work, ideas and questions. Jump into the conversations and let us know how we can help you reach your writing goals.
PS Also, in case you're interested, I offer a free e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! to those who join the Make The Move email community (also free). I think you'll get a ton out of both resources.
Welcome to this great community! We are glad you have joined us!
You find this a great place to learn and grow. You find many great networking opportunities and places to share your thoughts and ideas. I hope you find the experience of joining the 48 Days community as rewarding as I have found it.
