My Lord God, i have no idea where i am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do i know really myself, and the fact that i think i am following your will does not mean that i am actually doing so. But i believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And i hope i have that desire in all that i am doing. I hope i will never do anything apart from that desire. And i know that if i do this you will lead done the right road, though i… Continue

Hi Anthony,
I have an idea how to beat childhood obesity:)
We have to create our culture, the same as Donkin donates, build multi-concept gym up to 15 different sports and skills. This way you don't have a trouble to sell one sport or activities only to the same customer. if we do it the way junk food industry do maybe in 10%, we will have healthier and happier nation.
How you like that:)
Right group of people at First than Vision,Concept,Results.
best Regards,
Alex

Hi Anthony,
Great to hear from you,
i am working toward this for a while already.
It's very hurd to break this burocratic machine, all this non for profit organizations that a few of them produce real results, most of them getting money from the govrment years after years.
Thay wan't change anything, I have an idea of interval training for overweigh kids or adults. Training can be done in many differenr ways: you can teach sports skills (basketball, eurpean handball, voleyball, soccer,etc..
The best way to do it with a music high intencity music change to low intencityor medium intencity music.
This way participant will able to sustain at the period of the time when body temperature goes up and fat start breaking down.
They don't have to do it every day, I would say three times a week would be ammazing results.
Maybe you right we will come up with something original:).
Keep in touch,
Alex

Hi Anthony,
This is amaizing to me 24 marathons, you probably very strong mentally and physically eveen you have celebral pulsy.
I spent 4 years back in Ukraine doing track and field, I was in the top sport class in Soviet Union era:)
We did nine different events, we used to spend two days to compeate.
60 m sprint, 800m run, swiming, long jump, high jump, pull ups, gymnastic exercise in the group, 200 grams ball throwing in the coridor, and something else I can not think of:). Which help me big time when I came to soccer and catch up wit all my teammates later on,Basically I was invilve in sports all my life since I was 6, talking about organize sports don't talk about when we started running outside with the ball.
I have a biger profile on Linkedin.
You probably hear all this in news about childhood obesity and overweight, I went to Department od education website a few days ago, they pulished information that 40% of children in NYC are overweght and obese. They said 40%,I think is 50%.
My goal is to change the situation by creating multi-concept gym here in Queens NY. We have a beautiful facilities on Long Island NY, but nothing in Queens. The kids would have an opportunity to experience and learn real skills, techniques, and new sports. I believe that trying dif. sports that what make real athlets or make you athletics and understand yourown body, yourown strengh and weeknesess.
Keep in touch,
Alex

Hi Anthony, I thought what could I possibly have to share with this person but that is the neat thing about this site. It sounds as if you feel the same as I did in my last job that I just retired from (management in the fast food industry). I was very good at what I did but I was at the point that I hated going to work every day and the stress was getting me down. I am now in an artistic endeavor that I dearly love but my skill level is not there yet;also, the stress is not there as well. I like your idea of using your past knowledge in a totally different area. It may also be stressful if it is something you really love doing may not be stressful at all. Have you read Dan Miller book 48 days? It might really help .

Hi Anthony, I just saw your comment on the board and wanted to respond. There are so many opportunities out there, I always suggest to people that they decide what it is they love to do, then search for an opportunity that supports that need. I will be happy to speak to you about what I do... Just leave me a note or a direct email address and we can chat directly. I was in the Air Force for 28 years doing administrative type work and , like you, eventually burned out. I looked for various opportunities, but for all the wrong reasons. All I wanted was a huge income and I didn't care about the company or the product. Well, I have grown a lot over the years and realize that is not the way to go. Today, I am doing several things that I love, and making some extra cash on the side. Here are some of my web sites: http://www.slightedgebiz.com, http://www.buildlastingsuccess.com, and http://www.asantae.com/triche. Take care and good luck.
