Our Second Annual Christmas Open House has come and gone, and wow, we were blown away by the incredible crowd that attended (over 200 people!). We had people from as far away as California, Florida, New York, Texas, and even Hawaii! We had two photographers who captured the fun of the event as well as many angel portraits - we have them all posted on the site.
Not only did we give away over $1250 in 48 Days products to fifteen luck winners, we also gave away Robin Marshall's amazing toffee, Joel Boggess's book "One Woman's Journey", Dave's Entreleadership, Connie Williams' and Sheila Tidwell's mugs and goodies, Sibyl White's "How to Ditch the Corporate World and Rock Your Own".
Congratulations to Toni Belhu for winning the grand prize!
48 Days Endorsed Coaches Deb Ingino, Pierce Marrs and Joel Boggess were there, along with advisory members Melissa Stauffer, Anna Cook and Archie Winningham. James Woosley, Sutton Parks and Shaloma Wease were a great help to us with cleaning and prep. We had an amazing crowd there!
Reflections from the Open House
I couldn't let the holiday season go by without wishing all of our amazing 48 Days family a very Merry Christmas and Many Blessings for the upcoming New Year. If you were not able to come to the annual Open House this year you missed a delightful treat. Dan, Ashley, Nathan and I were in awe of the number of people, the miles they drove or flew to get here, the testimonies they gave about being a part of the 48 Days network or how reading one of Dan’s books or getting the newsletter or podcast has helped their success……… We are still recalling conversations with individuals that just blew us away.
It was wonderful to have many of our 48 Days endorsed coaches on site to meet face-to-face with people they had worked with but never formally met. It was a delight to hear how these individuals are being helped by their coaches. The 48 Days legacy is far reaching. It is a blessing to us to hear the stories. It also reminds us of the tremendous responsibility we have to each one of you. To give you hope and inspiration without sugar coating the hard work it takes; to give you the tools to help you create the life you want to live; to be honest and real with you.
One prevailing thought kept coming to mind during the Open House. We had hundreds of people here who were optimistic in spite of what is happening in our world. These people get it! They recognize and believe what Barbara Bush once said: “The future of our country lies not in what happens in the White House but in what happens in YOUR house.” We can listen to all the gloom and doom predictions and choose to believe we are all under a cloud or we can push on with hope and optimism and see opportunities open up for us if we have a good attitude and a great work ethic. That isn’t pie in the sky. It is truth. Ask any business owner what kind of person he is looking to hire and he is going to verify this.
Dan and I and our family all wish you a very Merry Christmas and we thank all of you for being loyal listeners, readers, participants of the 48 Days network. But most of all, we just feel blessed to have you be part of our family. And I mean that sincerely. Blessings to you all,
