Kimanzi,

Great article. I also like the change in picture for this audience. I did not catch it on the first article you did for these folks!

Really good stuff.   What your last words to someone important to you can make a lasting memory to change a life as it did for you.

Thanks for the shout out, Nick! Write It Forward LIVE will be live again next summer :)

My father died suddenly at 54 before. Our last conversations changed my life. My second article for the Huffington Post is live :) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kimanzi-constable/life-lessons_b_5621...

Nick, that's great to hear about the conference. I also didn't have a plan to write a book but am doing it now - I found something I wanted to say. It's an amazing process

Kent, I like the Lead from Quiet also. I am naturally a quiet person and that so fits. Thanks for that - and for setting priorities and time management takes care of itself. Awesome stuff.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out and thanks to Kent, Jeff Goins, Brian Dixon, and everyone who attended the outstanding WriteItForward conference this last weekend.

I did not have any serious intention of writing a book, and I only attended the conference as part of the SpeakItForward Mastermind program. After the conference, I have written at least 500 words every day, published my first blog post (YourPodcastGuru.com/EquipmentResource), have started writing a manifesto, and outlined my book!

Bottomline, don't miss the next one!!

Thanks everyone from the WriteItForward conference. I'm excited to make writing a part of my life and business.

...Forgot to add, you get about $2.00 for each 'borrow' on KU if they go through at least 10% of the book.

**Also posted in DIY epublishing as relevant there too.

I tellya! Picture type books for kindle are on the up! My Son just released his photography book, doing really well. We are becoming a publishing family! My blog post about the process is on here. fyi my sons book is here, and my main seller a book on loose watercolor is here. So just need to give you guys food for thought, huge opportunities! Also since the launch of Kindle Unlimited, the 'borrows' of my watercolor book have jumped from 1 or 2 a day to 7 or 8. Sales remain steady so it seems possible that ebooks at $2.99 or more attract the people who have KU (seems psychologically more value for their monthly fee, perhaps). And just to say it again,- a lot less words in a pictorial 'how to' type book!

Well, the summer harvest is slowing down and I'll be planting my fall garden in a couple of weeks.  My books have been put on the back burner for the summer and it is now time to start writing again!  Hope to be typing back soon saying I've got a book finished!
