Interesting development for eBooks; Amazon is now allowing self-publishing authors (through the KDP program) to make their Kindle books available for pre-order. You can activate pre-orders up to 90 days before the release date of your title.

The book becomes available on the release date, but you'll get an active sales/item page on Amazon within 24 hours of posting your pre-order.

Details and rules at the link below:

Thanks, Bob!

I see some folks on here linking back to names of folks.  What's the best way to do that?  #48daysnoob

Hey gang - be sure to zip your questions over to Dan Miller and Tony DiLorenzo for the 7pm CST brainstorming session tonight if you have questions on electronic publishing. Tony has developed some great ways of economically going about publishing his works that have resulted in residual income. Click HERE to find the "submit a question box."

Thanks for your guidance, Jen, because I was afraid of "clogging up" our page with links to my own blog, but I really appreciate the exposure and feedback as I get this whole website & blogging machine rolling!

Has your picture perfect life splintered into pieces? Make a beautiful new mosaic!

Hey gang, if you haven't done so already, click HERE to check out Erin Casey's blog on writing to an audience. She shares some great tips. By the way, for those that are wanting to blog or are blogging, if you aren't already, feel free to post your blogs on the 48days.net site for some extra exposure. Also a great place to visit if you are looking for some great content to read. Kind of fun to read up on things that normally I wouldn't have had on my radar.

Kimanzi,

You have done a lot of awesome activities since then, huh?

BTW it was good that you and yours were safe through the storm.

Mahalo all!

I just looked at my profile page and realized the last time I updated the information was when I signed up in 2011, yikes! It's fun to look at my goals when I joined and how things have gone :)
