Debra, you humble me.  Thank you.  I'm more than happy to be of service.

You have picked a very meaningful project to work on.  The process alone will be a blessing with the quality time you get to spend with you mother to document her life.  You will learn so much and the two of you will get to share so much with each other.  That is so precious.  I hope others will follow suit.

I look forward to hearing more about what you gain from the process (what you learn, how you grow, etc.), as well as about the book itself in the future.

Henry, you are one of my favorite persons on this venue.  You were so helpful when I published my first book, Reflections. I enjoyed reading your reflection and know that you will carry that with you the rest of your life.  I have started my second book, ghostwriting my mother's life story.  I put other projects on the shelf to devote to this, and now I'm glad I did.  Thank you for sharing.

Thomas, I appreciate your encouraging words.  If anyone was changed, to God be the glory.  Thank you for commenting.

Henry, I'm sure your words lifted up those in attendence with love and rememberance of your mother.  Your words, with the help of the Holy Spirit, probably changed someone there.  You may never know.  I too am sorry for your loss.  Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Sutton, thank you for your condolences.

Cam, you're absolutely right!

Marianne, thank you for the complement and your prayers.  She was wonderful, to say the least.  I am looking forward to when we will meet at Jesus' feet.  And thanks for the kind words and the blog post about the book.  I'm glad it blessed you.

Steve, thank you for the condolences and the comforting words.  We have been experiencing that peace - and it is amazing!

Henry - My condolences to you and your family. Paul speaks of a "peace that passes understanding" in one of his letters. My prayer is that you find and experience that peace as you are lead by the Holy Spirit.

Happy to bring smiles. Laughter is good for the heart -- especially in times when the circumstances are less than ideal.

Frances:

That is a great idea. So many older people have lived such interesting lives and have amazing wisdom but if we don't capture it, it's gone forever. I wish I had done that with my relatives.
