Hello Tom,

Welcome to the group.  Your welcome to join us any Friday that you can make it.  Just a few weeks ago we were talking about how it would be helpful to have a few more members in the Friday morning meetings, 6 is a pretty good number.  I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this week's homework, and your story.  I hope to see you Friday.

Glad to join this group. I live in Rice Lake, so it's a little over an hour away, but I should be able to make a few of the Friday meets. If my profile doesn't fit the group I can always bow out. No harm done. I do think I have something to offer, and I could use the ideas and support as I work to build my virtual presence. At 51 I will be one of the older members but age is a state of mind.

Jacob, if you want something new and cheap, I'd check out a chrome book. They are cloud OS based laptops where all your data is online. They start at $499 and have integrated 3g comm chips with 100mb of free 3g data per month, its a cool concept. Or you could do craigslist or ebay.

I'm looking for an older, cheap laptop. I basically just need something I can use to get online and access google docs and other web sites. I have access to other machines for things like video and photo editing. This will be my take-everywhere computer so I don't have to commandeer Brandy's laptop or use my work machine.

Hey Jake. You were talking about stating a membership site. Have you checked out Buddypress.org. It's a Wordpress powered social networking platform. With a theme like Custom Community I think you could work wonders.

Dan has made available a book on creating your own Mastermind group, or as I like to call ours, an accountability group. It'll be available free for one week and after that it'll be a paid for product. I'm posting the link below so that we can use this as a tool for our group. Jake suggested that next week we should discus this book and possibly implement some of Dan's suggestions. See you tomorrow.

This group is really focused on accountability. It's great we enjoy each others' company, but the real value is the way we motivate each other and feel responsible for accomplishing our goals so we don't disappoint each other.

For those of you who are unable to attend the Friday meetings, please join in the discussions here in the forum. Let us encourage you in the pursuit of your goals and chime in to the discussions so we can benefit from your perspective.
