For me, it would have to be sometime over the past 6 months. I was in a job that I didn't like and realized I needed to be doing something drastically different. I figured out that for me to be happy, I needed to be self employed. While it hasn't happened yet, I have changed to a job that is closer to where I live so that I can have more time to with my family and to pursue my dream/goal of being self employed.
For me, it wasn't a specific moment but more of a process to determine my passion. I think that process took about four years. I discovered my passion is to be a catalyst for growth and improvement in others. That typically takes the form of coaching others through career transitions to help them get unstuck and find their passion. However, it can take other forms as well. Great question Karen.
Thanks for sharing, Adam. It's definitely a process for some of us and for others, it's a quick thing! I'm always amazed at those who discover their passions as a youngster and grow up right into them. Wishing you the best with your coaching!
Wishing you the best on your passion journey, Wayne!
Welcome to the 48 Days group, Tricia! I can so relate to your post--I've attended several births as a doula. I loved every birth!
