Nice updated website Jen!  I really like it.

Toastmasters is awesome, the Ice Breaker is a big first step.  Keep it up!

This was the feedback I got from my Icebreaker speech:

Great job! Congratulations on your first "official"  speech! You are very courageous and we are proud of you.

Nice pacing. Good vocal variation. If using cards perhaps leave them on the lectern. Liked the content.

Nice job. Welcome! Exemplary first speech which started in a dramatic way; not many icebreakers are with props or exaggerated gestures.

Interesting to learn about you. You're enthusiasm is contagious. You really enjoyed yourself.

Nicely done -- good use of the hats as visual aids (or playful props?) Looking forwards to hearing what happened after your story was published.

Great anthology of your life - the props were appropriate and fun. I feel like we know more about you now even though your speech wasn't overly personal. In the future, it may be nice to pick one particular about yourself and elaboration on the topic. Great humor - awesome pauses to smile at the audience! You seem natural and confident. You stand and speak like a leader. Great Job!!

That was the feedback I received in written form anyway. Question: Was your first icebreaker tough?

Kent - the pics were just AWESOME! Congrats!!! Looking forward to your 4/8/15 webinar on how to develop and deliver an unforgettable speech. I am doing a brand new talk three times over the next two weeks to city and county employees that I am pumped about so thanks for the great tips!!

Hey, wanted to take a moment to brag on Matthew Casteel (www.HolyOatmeal.com) as he did a rocking awesome job on my website recently (www.TheIronJen.com). I was looking to get freshened up look that targeted my market more and was stunned at all the great tweaks he made that made a huge impact without having to get a whole new website (updated header, updated sign up area, fixed video formatting, etc.). Anyways, he has a great eye for making things get done that looks great so if you are looking for a new website, an overhaul on your current one, or just a freshened up look on your existing one, would highly recommend him.
