Thank you everyone for your encouragement and prayers! I greatly appreciate it!

I literally was just sent some pics of area about 2 hours from where I will be in Ukraine. Pics of what war looks like. A friend has shared the depth of the hardships in certain areas...food, clothing, electricity etc.

It brings 'speaking' to a whole new level.  This is especially true when I consider bringing words of hope and encouragement to those who face losing what little they already have...maybe even their freedoms.

The words we speak have the power to change lives and destinies...

Honestly, beyond humbled.

Don!  That is awesome!!!  Safe travels and prayers to you:)

Save travel and God's blessing on your trip, Don. Your tips on speaking through an interpreter remind me a talk takes twice as long through an interpreter. I hadn't thought that through the first time I spoke through one. But thankfully they didn't have time limits either and were happy for the content.

That's fantastic, Don! I would still love to connect with you in person sometime. I'll definitely be praying for you, especially as you travel into two areas that are in the midst of some political issues.

Hello All...been absent for some time. I have been very busy with a start up company helping them with marketing and sales set up and processes.

Wanted to pop in and share briefly about recent speaking opportunities...

I spoke at a local middle school Veterans Day program to about 600 students, faculty and community members. Had a wonderful time sharing what a true hero is.

Just yesterday I spoke to about 35 human resource professionals about "Knowing Your Why Makes All The Difference." Have had all positive feedback from several people. Nice to hear things like..."Usually the speakers are dry, but you made the meeting come alive and people really enjoyed it"

BTW...to Kent...I threw in a piece about E+R=O. I even brought about 10-12 bracelets with me.  I told them they could see me afterward and I would be happy to give them away.  I only left with three...so Kent...you are out there to HR professionals.

Lastly, I will be leaving three weeks from today for Europe again. I will be speaking in Paris, France and two cities in the Ukraine...I could spell them and pronounce them for you, but you would still say, "What?"  LOL

All these meetings will be in churches, but they give me great leeway to speak on success principles for any areas in life...life, career, biz, family etc. I love this, because success principles crossover to so many areas of life.

I will speak three times in Paris in four days.  The Paris church will have about 2500 in service. I will speak seven times in Ukraine in 5 days. The three Ukraine churches range from about 75 to over 500+.

I speak very little French, so an interpreter is a must. I speak much more Russian than French, but still need an interpreter.

Random squirrel thought about an interpreter...you need to refine your message so it is easily understood by the interpreter and can be conveyed well to others. You have to use everyday type stories everyone can relate too.

Someone said to me recently...so you are going to a country with recent terrorism issues and another one that's at war with Russia?  My response...Uhmmmm...yep, that about covers it. LOL.

On a serious note...would appreciate prayers for safety while traveling. Just wanted to chime in and share...thanks.

Thank You, Kent!  I stand in agreement with your prediction!  Woot woot

One of the many, many takeaways that I gained from the boot camp was to serve your community.  When you serve you are remembered:)
