Kent, 7,000+ people yesterday? WOW! That is really, really inspiring, amazing, and cool! Also congrats on your 7,000 audience talk scheduled for next April.

For the 9 folks signed up for Kent's Speak It Forward mastermind group - you are going to love it. GREAT investment into getting to where you want to go.

Was privileged to speak to an audience of 7,000 plus yesterday at JLDC (Joint Leadership Development Conference) in Alabama. I shared the stage with the author of Forrest Gump, an America's Got Talen Semi-Finalist, and others. What a great venue! Here's a picture of when I shared a story about my daughter Kelsey...

Justin...loved meeting you at the Boot Camp. And I love seeing your energy in pursuing your passion. Go!!!

Okay, two thoughts...one is where to place this discussion in the future and one is my answer.

First, in the future you probably want to start a discussion to ask this type of question. The reason is if you get 5 or 10 replies here, they will likely be spread out between other comments and they will also be hard to find in the future (notice the comment wall is now 328 pages long :).  If you start a discussion, all the answers will be in one place and easily searchable even years from now.

Second, as far as you specific question, your tagline is solid. Definitely strong enough to start. Will it evolving into you saying it some other way? Probably. But don't wait for that to happen. Get moving. Remember, spend 20% of your time and energy on your "message" and invest 80% of your time on "marketing." You'll get booked quicker and your market will end up helping you shape your message.

Hope this helps. Keep speaking it forward!

Let me start by saying how much I enjoyed the SIF Bootcamp last week! I met some great people and I’m encouraged by what I learned (thanks Kent and Dan!).

So I keep reminding myself, "I’m movin’ forward with Speak it Forward."

Now I’m honing in on my message and I’m looking for some feedback.

At this point my audience is teenage students (eventually it may be Career & Tech Student Org. thanks to Kent:)

My core message is “Every teenager can learn how to make their dreams come true."

In this context I’m speaking of dreams being great goals and aspirations. My keynote explains how dreams come true when right choices are made. Dreams are built by choices.

With that being said, my tagline (promise) is: “Helping teens build their dreams"

So what do you think about my core message and tagline?

Thanks!

The next Speak It Forward 12-month Coaching and Mastermind Program is in the process of launching now. We officially start on December 1, 2014.

It's open to 10 people only and 9 spots are already taken. If you're interested in the final spot, email me at adm@liveitforward.com and I'll send you registration info. But please only email me if you're seriously considering investing in yourself to become a speaker in 2015.

Bottom line, I would love to serve you if you're ready to get moving! And just know, a lot of the most successful speakers in this group (speakers who are booking paid engagements) give a lot of credit to the Coaching and Mastermind program for their success. People like Jen McDonough, Jill Davis, Eric Kulikowski, Jeff McManus, Jonathan Taylor, Sarah Meece, Maureen Zappala, Tony DiLorenzo, Andy Perkins, Shari Barnes, and more.

So email me if you like to know more...
