Dan Miller Inspired Resources

At a recent Mastermind Meeting we discussed how the profits of any business (online or brick and mortar) are a function of

Attracting x Engaging x Delighting

Think of it like a box.  The profits from your business fit in a box with the sides: Attract, Engage and Delight.  There is always one limiting side you should focus on improving to maximize the size of the box (your profits).

Here are some ideas to grow your business.

The goal is not to do ALL 48 but to identify 1 or 2 that fit your ideal customers and you best.  Then execute on those.

What's worked for you and your customers?

Aloha! I am back and getting caught up on all the great activity in the community. Where have I been? After 4.5 years in China, I have relocated with my company to all places, Hawaii. It is nice! I am appreciating the clean air and sunshine. Approx. 6 months ago while in china I launched an online pearl store, www.meimeipearls.com with support from this group and our leader, Tom. The business model I used worked well during the transition as the past few month I didn't make much time to focus on the pearl business with the relocation. I did have a good sale through Etsy while moving! That is just what I needed to be inspired again. I also want to spend the next new months determining how to use my 20 years experience in customer service, leadership, and training to build online content as this will be my last JOB for someone else. Happy to be back and looking forward to learning and sharing in the community again!

David - may be better to start a discussion thread so you can collect responses in one place. Can you tell us more about your product/site?

Most questions about blogging for eCommerce start with "How should I..."  STOP: You are the worst person to write your own eCommerce blog.  Find someone who is your ideal customer to write them better yet get your customers to generate content.
