Chris, I love the colors. And it's amazing how much color white takes. I agree with Melissa - it's very neat. Maybe a person with their arm folded out the window would be cool!

I was just thinking about this group this am- we've all been quiet lately. Hopefully it is because we are recharging our creative batteries and/or working on our art.

Chris, this is great- I love how it looks like the car is speeding towards the sunset.  I don't see a person though.  Have you thought of including people?

This painting was inspired by the Stephen King novel Christine. 58 Plymouth Fury.

Below is a 16x20 painting of a 1960 Edsel .  Its amazing how many different colors you use when painting a white car. I did some close ups to shake things up a bit.

Happy weekend everyone!  I hope you all are doing well...I'm glad to see some activity on the page again.  I haven't been on here in a while and I miss posting my art.

I've had my head down working lots of jobs lately, but loving every bit of it.

I attended the first Innovate in March 2013 and then shortly afterwards I realized that I hadn't done one thing Dan recommended. Reading positive books and listening to positive material every day. So I started in May 2013. Every day I did this. I learned so much - I am an artist first and I also have been a la Dave Ramsey delivering pizza on the side. And I love it - my boss gave me a hug just recently. How cool is that. And little kids think I am a Pepperoni carrying hero.

I loved Dorothea Brande's book, "Wake Up and Live." It was a life changer. What if I lived my life as if it were impossible to fail. What if I approached my problems, dreams and goals with the attitude that I couldn't fail. That energy I use I give to failure, that energy would be propelled toward a future that would change my life - and the lives of others.

So I have rewritten the book. It's in the public domain and it's a little thick and hard to read - written in archaic language. I am working on the website - but I just did a facebook page.

I am so excited! I cannot express how much this group and 48 days has changed my life.

Oh, Deby, how was the book launch party?! I can't wait to hear about it : )

Thanks for checking out the Underground Art Initiative, Patti, I am excited to be a part of UAI-Live this August. It will be my first time visiting Wisconsin too!

Hi Court, cute comment about the 48 hours! I watched a good bit of your interview. You did really well. It was interesting to hear about your growing up and the easel. I am going to try to find time tomorrow to watch the rest. Thanks for telling us about the art group.
