Randy, Looks like you probably forgot a </div> somewhere. Everything that should show up in the right column is within the main content div. This could easily happen if you cut/paste HTML.

I would try deleting all the content and pasting in some plain text to see if that fixes it. If it does, then you need to more carefully paste in the original content (preferably without any HTML).

I am migrating my blog from Blogger.com to integrate into my Wordpress site. Aside from the domain forwarding www.faithandthemagickingdom.net to the new location, I'm having an error I hope someone here can help with. At http://www.leavingconformitycoaching.com/blog (which is where the URL above will redirect to soon), I have a formatting issues. The fun part is that if you go to any specific post (i.e. http://www.leavingconformitycoaching.com/2012/05/partners-statue-ke...) neither of these problems exist.

Basically, the sidebar is at the bottom, looking like a regular post but formatted badly.

Does anyone have any thoughts in why this is happening and how to fix it? (I had another problem as well, but fixed that by deactivating a plug-in that I wanted to use but clearly messed it up.)

Thanks!

Tom Ballard,

Sounds like Matt is on the right track.  I just expanded on his instructions with a graphic that might explain it more clearly (see below.)

Hi Tom, I don't use Thesis, but one place you could look is wp-admin  >> Users >> ( find the user with email of ponygallery)  >> Edit.  Then enter a new nickname, Tom Ballard,  for that user and set the "Display name publicly as" option to that name.

Again, I don't know if Thesis does display names  differently so your mileage may vary.

Cheers,

-matt

Here's one for Thesis users, although it could be elsewhere in wordpress.

When I make a post to my website, jesusfreaktrucker.com, it shows the author as ponygallery witch is an email address name I use for unrelated stuff. How do I get that changed to read Tom Ballard? I am guessing it is pulling it from somewhere that is changeable, but I sure can't find it.

Thanks

Tom Ballard

A non-profit group I belong to, Love Heals, hopes to stop human/sex trafficking here in the US, starting locally in Nashville, TN. We are looking for someone who would donate their time to build a website for this cause.  It's becoming so big, some drug dealers are getting out of the drug business and kidnapping young girls and forcing them into prostituion.  If your heart goes out to this cause, please let me know, we could use help in this area.
