I'm thrilled to have this group--the 48 Days Workshops are such an incredible resource for anyone who is looking to find the work they love...or even to confirm that they are already doing it!

This group is for those looking to lead the workshops--whether that is in church, in corporations, through your coaching business, etc. This is the place to share your experiences, both good and bad, and learn about methods that work! Remember that everyone brings their own unique personality to the class--being a facilitator is an important factor on truly selling the classes--participants have to get excited about you as the leader!

This group is designed for you all to ask questions, share ideas, and generally encourage one another to really network together and make the classes (and your own personal endeavors) a success!

Comment by Terri Sullivant on May 28, 2009 at 6:23am: I will be coming to the Training Seminar tomorrow (May 29) and the following Monday will be doing the Personality Profile tests with 5 employees at a medical equipment co. I am working for. They are headquartered in Franklin. The purpose of the testing is, in this case, to help the employees get a better picture of their gifts/calling/personalities to improve the team spirit and working environment. It also may bring some shifts in positions, which I am hoping to do with my job. Have any of you used the tests in this way? I'd like to hear of others' experience with this if there is anyone.

Only 3 more days and I am going to the Sanctuary. I can't wait. In all reality, I wouldn't have had the opportunity if I hadn't been Gazelle intense these last 2 years and completed Baby Step 3. Since completing it, I have been able to save up for Dave Ramsey counselor training and this upcoming trip. I hope all of you have the opportunity to meet Dan and Ashley! I will comment when I get back.

That is fine, I appreciate it. I am an AF reservist and definitely see a need, officer and enlisted, active and reserve. I see many folks getting out or retiring and not really knowing or understanding the process or what their true options are. Others have ideas on becoming entrepreneurs, but don't know how to get started or what direction to begin with.

Please keep me updated as you can on this important subject.

I am retired Air Force and my focus is offering the 48 Days seminar to retired military officers to help them transition back into civilian life. In fact, during the introduction part of the 48 Days Seminar Certification class today, a couple of us had the that focus. There is definitely a need out there for retirees in general, military or other. Dan talked about the possibility of amending the 48 Days material to reflect specific areas such as the military

I looked around on the 48days site but did not see anything geared for the military. I only mention this because I know FPU is offered with a slant towards them. Any ideas or suggestions? I may be able to work into this.

Comment by Wendi Gordon on March 27, 2009 at 2:12am: I'm hoping someone can solve this mystery for me...often when I log on various groups, including this one, indicate their latest activity as being within the last 12 hours or so (right now this one says latest activity was 10 hours ago) but then I can't find any new activity. The latest comment I show is from Ashley on 2/19 and the latest reply to a discussion was on 3/17. Where is the more recent activity? If there's not any, why does the group info show 10 hours ago as the latest activity?

My answer is easy. God called us to be good stewards of our money. For you (and us) to just give away products first off decreases the value in the items we has to offer (we all know that you usually get what you pay for), and secondly, it is not being a good steward of what God has given him. He wants to teach men and women to make money and be good stewards of it—doing a greater good for God. We here at 48 Days believe that ministry does not have to equal poverty. The more we can effectively stand on our own two feet, the more we can effectively lift up others. For people to really come forth and change, they need to be willing to make an investment. We've seen time and time again that just offering something for free (or minimal pay) means people blow it off easier. If there are a few people that truly need a scholarship, you can coordinate that in the fee so you have extra fluff for the church to scholarship some in.
