I'm thrilled to have this group--the 48 Days Workshops are such an incredible resource for anyone who is looking to find the work they love...or even to confirm that they are already doing it!
This group is for those looking to lead the workshops--whether that is in church, in corporations, through your coaching business, etc. This is the place to share your experiences, both good and bad, and learn about methods that work! Remember that everyone brings their own unique personality to the class--being a facilitator is an important factor on truly selling the classes--participants have to get excited about you as the leader!
This group is designed for you all to ask questions, share ideas, and generally encourage one another to really network together and make the classes (and your own personal endeavors) a success!
If you have any questions concerning the 48 Days workshops and/or facilitating them, please contact Nathan Logsdon at Nathan@48days.com.

Thanks for the information. I have toyed with the idea of doing a two-weekend boot camp style seminar. That could be a second class outside of the church or business platform of 6-8 weeks. I believe there are those who would rather move much faster for many reasons.
I am following yours and others' viewpoints and experiences in sharing the 48 Day seminars. Pretty cool how each individual does have differing viewpoints.
Thanks!!!
Comment by Camden Ross on May 18, 2012 at 1:14pm Hi Darren,
I recently finished doing the class in a 12 week format, and it seemed way too drawn out for my liking. A 6-8 week format would be a lot stronger in my mind.
I am also still floating around in my mind the idea of hosting a weekend intensive class (covering all 12 sessions and workbook information) that then leads whoever is interested in followup into an 8 week mastermind/coaching/accountability group for implementing the steps that were learned and walking along the 48-day outline.
That way those individuals (like my wife) who were itching to move forward faster could have all the info, while those who want a little more methodical process could walk the 48-days steps in a closer to 48-day time frame.
Just some thoughts in my head after finishing up my first class. If anyone else has thoughts on this, I just started a discussion with some more detailed info about my idea here.

I like the 6 to 8 weeks process as opposed to the 12 but we will see what the church council has to say. I will let you know as soon as I do about the set up and timeframe.
Thanks for all the help Ashley and hope all is well.

Thanks for the information. I guess I just needed to keep looking. Thanks on the idea of the full kit, I agree that would be best overall for the individual and class.
Yup, met Nathan and Ashley and crew through the "Coaching with Excellence" a while back and now actually moving forward.
Again, thanks Don.
Comment by Ashley Logsdon on May 17, 2012 at 12:34pm Yep, Don nailed it - there is the place with the details. As for doing it in a 6 or 12-week class, it simply depends on what the norm is for classes at your church. 6-8 weeks is ideal because you can fit it into the 48 day window (add an intro class or graduation class at the end if you like). However, we set it up in a 12 week format because that's what works for most churches.
Please let us know details on your workshop and we can post it on our site, and also be sure to post it here in the 48Days.net events!
Comment by Don Roulo on May 17, 2012 at 9:15am Darren,
There are a couple of ways to go. You can get just the workshop guide or you can do the full workshop kit. The full workshop kit is $69 - minimum of 5. It has a bunch of great stuff in it. I would recommend that over just the workshop guide. The guide by itself is less, but it is only the guide. Contact Nathan Logsdon at the 48 days office. nathan@48days
Here is a link to the full kit...http://www.48days.com/48daysworkshops/workshop-materials/
Also...just go to the search box on the .net site and type in facilitator kit and it will bring you to a page that has a lot of info.
Nathan will be able to help you out with all the specifics. He is a great guy to work with!!
Comment by Darren Rayborn on May 17, 2012 at 8:47am Hello again everyone,
I have looked around here but can't seem to find out where the cost is for the 48 Days kits. Is it better to do 6 or 12 week classes? I am gathering all information available so I can present to the church council how wonderful and helpful this program is to our parish members as well as those who would like to attend from the outside community.
My wife works at the church and they already have seen success with FPU, so I am hoping and praying for open minds. Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome.
Thanks!
Darren
Comment by Darren Rayborn on May 10, 2012 at 7:27pm Hello everyone,
Great to be here. I am getting back into the swing of things. It has been over a year since the "Coaching with Excellence" seminar so I will be looking for some guidance as I move along. There has been a personal epiphany, so time to move forward.
I am now getting focused and will be chatting with our church about getting the 48 Days seminar going. We have FPU classes in-house already and there was, at one time, a business/job search ministry, but no one seems to know what happened to it. It is a large church and very open to new ideas and concepts.
I also plan on developing this into a business so will probably need a different location to work out of. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and welcomed.
Thank you and have a fantastic day!!
Darren
