OT: 48 days resume concept
I'm trying to help my brother find an internship for the summer and I suggested sending resumes to places he would want to work asking for an internship. I can't remember though what the process is for that, I seem to rmember that 3 mailings are required (intro letter, resume and what else?) Are their forms for letters and resumes? Help would be wonderful as there is probably a hold on the book at the library!

His first step is to identify a hiring manager within the organization he wants to work. Then, step 1 is a letter of introduction. The letter introduces himself, and also notifies that a resume is to follow.
A few days later, the cover letter and resume are sent. The cover letter announces at the end that the manager can expect a call (step 3).
There are oodles of sample resumes on the web. You can also try the 48days.com site, and other sites of coaches here. Unfortunately, I do not have these resources up on my site yet.
