I would switch the column to the right side of the page. So people's eyes end up there after reading the headline instead of breezing past it.

Thanks to Jordan, Laura, and Sutton for taking the time to check out my website! Jordan asked about sales...there haven't been any yet, but I'm just starting to get the word out and am more interested in getting feedback and newsletter subscribers. Sales will come after people get to know me and trust me.

Wow, thanks so much for taking the time to write out your suggestions for modifying the content of my website and attach them. I will probably use some of what you wrote, and it will definitely help spur my own thinking.
