I am a consultant having troubles with the book keeping part of my business. I currently use Quicken 2010 Home and Business. Can't say I am having any fun figuring things out. I know I need to track expenses, invoices, budgeting, .............. I want to be responsible for tracking all these important items, but the amount of time I am spending to figure stuff out is hindering my business time. I need some help setting things up or I need to farm out the book keeping – accounting stuff. I would prefer to get help setting up Quicken as the number of transactions for the business is small in number. I am not opposed to handing over my accounting to a professional. My concern there is cost and keeping track of the important information.
I would appreciate any help with finding someone to help set up Quicken Home and Business or help in finding the right service to handle the accounting for my business.

Since you are a consultant, I'm guessing that you don't have inventory, property, nor employees. You just have cash inflow and outflow, time-tracking, receivables and payables (maybe). I have found something extra special for you....
This software was written by a developer that felt that he was working for his bookkeeping software, rather than the other way around. It's simple AND accurate. BINGO!
The only drawback at this time to LESSACCOUNTING is that it doesn't have any type of budgeting options. I have spoken with the developer of the software and have encouraged him to build that in somehow (can we say 'virtual' envelopes?).
But I have a business-budget template that you could easily utilize in conjunction with LessAccounting.
I will reach out to you to discuss this further. Happy Consulting!!
