Celebrating personal achievements

I got an email from Tiffani Kinghorn, one of our members here. I've been discussing a new motivational product she's working on...I'm eager for her to share it with you all!

But Tiffani just finished her first marathon. That's a big deal...quite a feat. You should go congratulate here at her page

It got me thinking about this community...that we are all here to achieve something. So...I wanted to make a place for us to share personal achievements and milestones! Whether it's completing a marathon, getting your first client, quitting a job you hate, finding your best idea, or having a baby!

I have completed all sessions with my first Career Coaching client. I have learned so much in the process with my client. It was an achievement to know that I can coach others and do a great job. I learned that I don't have to be perfect but available. I was stretching and worth it!!!!!!!!! Now bring on the referrals and journey!!!!!

Congratulations on being hired to write a book for Atlantic Publishing!!! As you said, you won't get paid a bunch, but it is a step. And a journey is composed of many steps. You are on your way!! Reminds me of the saying - the joy is not in the destination, but the journey. May you have a joyous journey as a writer!!

How exciting to complete the process with a coaching client and feel that you have made a difference!! How freeing to know that you don't have to be perfect. I really appreciate your excitement!

Did you do this coaching by phone or in person?? I like the idea of life coaching in coffee houses. :) A great place for good conversations.

May your referrals flow freely!!

I have long been praying for a business that I could launch part-time and build while I head toward retirement. Pretty standard stuff, replacing full-time income with a business instead of a job. This month, God dropped a big bundle with a bow on my lap. A Christian filmmaker, Rich Christiano, has commissioned me to build a promotional website for his new movie being released September 18th. I am almost finished with the review & revise cycles and my first check should be coming my way before the end of the month. I have recently started working from home. Having a pre-schooler, this helps me spend the time, care for the house, and do the things that I need to at home throughout the day. It also helps to not bring home all the germs from the office. We still have to work out Medical insurance and a few other items, but I just wanted to share this with everyone.
