I am a Massage Therapist in Orem, Utah. I focus on Medical/Therapeutic Massage. I've done some Sports Massage with some of the Extramural BYU sports teams.

My chosen specialty is Injury Prevention and Rehab, for everyone, not just athletes.

I am currently putting together a marketing plan "Eliminate Back Pain in 10 Sessions, Guaranteed!" I could probably reduce it to as little as 6 sessions though, if you have any thoughts on that, I'd appreciate it! The sessions would be 2/wk, so 6 sessions would be 3 weeks, 10 sessions - 5 wks.

My long term business goals/thoughts are to provide Massage Therapists who are specially trained for chiropractic offices and Physical Therapy Offices. And to draw clientele from the Medical Professions. I would like to have my own location, and expand to several locations throughout Utah Valley (if you look at a map, I want to cover from Santaquin in the south to Lehi in the north, and west to Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain)

I'm working at a Chiropractic office, but don't want to limit my potential growth by using that business name.

My basic idea is I want to let people know that I'm not just a fluff and buff relaxation massage place like almost everyone else out there.

I've thought of Utah Medical Massage, Utah Valley Massage (I'm in Utah Valley...) Utah Valley Medical Massage, Medical Massage of Utah...

Needless to say, I'm kind of stuck on the "Medical" part of the name. I'm not opposed to dropping that from the name, I just want a good name that says "Medical Professional" not "Fluffy Massage"

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This forum has been a great help already, and I hope my comments are helpful and not junk.

So who will you be marketing to primarily? To docs or to the public? We are doing a lot of 'name' discussions in the 'Branding & Positioning Group,' you might want to take this discussion there.

Dane,

"Rub it out Massage; specializing in injury prevention and rehabilitation". This is the first thing that came to mind. Hope it helps somehow. Good luck and God bless.

PS, my brother-in-law is going through massage school now here in Florida.
