Permalink Reply by Farnoosh Brock on June 27, 2012 at 5:52am Thank you so much for sharing this piece, Claudia. I was about to come over and share this piece here for our 48 Days community. And boy, I would be happy to hear some disagreements ;)! I would have disagreed with myself only 2 years ago.... To be honest, I thought it was a pretty radical post but reflects truly how I feel about getting a job now - I was shocked how many readers agreed. What are your thoughts? I'd love to know.....
Permalink Reply by Farnoosh Brock on June 27, 2012 at 6:15pm Dear Claudia, there is no worry, everything is fine, I did not take an ounce of offense. Why would I? You were sharing my content - I was just full of gratitude. I was just saying it's interesting that nobody that read that post (at least those who left comments) disagreed with the concept and I was surprised because I thought it's a very radical position to take. I am SO grateful you shared it and I wish you all the best in your endeavors as a teacher (I loved all my teachers :)) and in whatever path you choose next. If I can do ANYTHING to help you, please let me know. :)!

Thank you Farnoosh for the excellent list. I will continue to be an eagle.

Ah an eagle is a beautiful thing to aim for and I am delighted that this list spoke to you. Let me know if I can do ANYTHING to help you on the journey to that eagle, Leonard! :)
Wow, I loved that article. I could see my self in most of what was mentioned. It's funny how you can read something and identify with it totally. I don't know what I am waiting for because I am sure not getting any younger and I am sick to death of the corporate environment. Yes...I am a little fearful since I only have myself to fall back on with a lot of responsibility. Yes, I have been brainwashed as well...
Permalink Reply by Farnoosh Brock on June 29, 2012 at 7:14pm Hi dear Karen, thank you so much. Don't feel bad - don't blame yourself - it's just the conditioning that happens, and it's totally OK to be terrified even, but maybe this will rekindle a fire in you to do something on your own, even if you are still in corporate - I call it a side-hustle, that's how I started my business .... and I totally and completely get where you are.
